This undesired effect can happen only when you're trying to open a .ddo file that is not the right one, meaning the tables designed uses variable names that DataDynamic Reporter is not able to find in the .ddf2 datafile you're using. Please double check you opened the correct .ddf2 file or the correct .ddo file.
