By using a filter you select a sub-sample of data to use for your tables. 


In DataDynamic is possible to use filters both for your entire set of tables and for specific tables inside the set. You can use a 'Global filter' button in the Data File Options toolbar, which will have an effect on all the tables you produce while the filter is turned on, or a 'Table filter' button in the Table Options toolbar, which is only valid for one particular table.



In both cases, either clicking the table filter or global filter icon, a pop-up menu appears. Depending on your needs, DataDynamic allows you to create filters in four different ways:
