The procedure to import a structure of a file (only the variables) is pretty straightforward in DataDynamic by simply following these passages:
+ Open a new empty .ddf2 file
+ Click on the 'Import' icon in the Editor view
+ Browse and choose the file from which you want to import the structure. It could be either a DataDynamic .ddf2 file or any other file format we support for importing (like SPSS, Excel, Triple S, etc.)
+ Once the file is chosen click on ‘Show advanced features’ and check the box ‘Import structure’
+ Click on 'Import'
