To create a weight variable in DataDynamic Editor mode:
+ select the variable you want to use as a target in the variable list and click on 'Create weight'. You can also use more than one variable to create your weight variable, which will result from the combination of the categories of selected variables (strata). The procedure is essentially the same as for one variable: simply select all the target variables and then click on 'Create weight variable' icon in the Edit toolbar.
+ The Create weight window opens. Fill in the name of the new weight variable and its description.
+ Then fill in the required (target) percentages. You have the option of calculating based on the N instead of percentages (for extrapolation to the population for example).
+ To finish, click on 'Create' button.
